Session
Elders are the dedicated governing body of our congregation, chosen by the members to fulfill their calling. Ruling elders make vital decisions for the church and guide the implementation of local policies and procedures.
2025 ELDERS
Deacons
Deacons embody acts of compassion and service within our church community. Currently, we have five church deacons who play a vital role in caring for our members. They often engage in ministries that include feeding, visitation, prayer, and hospitality. Additionally, they are able to undertake various other acts of service both within the church and in the surrounding community.
The responsibilities of our deacons include:
- Visiting church members who are ill
- Sending monthly communication cards
- Conducting in-home visits for communication
- Performing communion duties for the church
- Making yearly monetary donations to the local VFW
- Providing monetary and food donations to local thrift stores
- Donations to M.A.C.S and Marshall Choral Society
- Distributing financial and care information for senior health to those in need
- Distributing Palm Sunday packets
Through these efforts, our deacons contribute significantly to the well-being and support of our congregation and local community.
