Oct 4 - Around One Table God calls all people to one table. Harvesting abundant life in Christ begins with joys and conflicts among people closest to us. In God’s wisdom we sow seeds of mercy and generosity, weeded of envy and selfishness, cultivated with compassion and humility. Then fruits of God’s peace fill the table around which we all gather.

Growing Deep and Wide
God grows us deep and wide. Especially in uncertain times, we try to be good stewards of God’s gifts. We seek purpose in Christ growing deeply rooted in God’s Spirit, like trees in fertile soil. In that strength we branch out widely together with our time, talents and material resources—as a forest alive in God’s service. |
Oct 25 - An Old Church in a New Age God renews the church in every age. Our church is old and beautiful; and we must rise again to meet changes and challenges of our age. As we open ourselves to God and others with compassionate hospitality and intelligent spirituality, Christ comes among us. Like living stones, God shapes us into a sanctuary for Christ’s service. |
