For all we know about God, we can still feel so distant. Wherever we are—a tent, a shack, a sanctuary—God comes to meet us. As we open our minds to question, our hearts to love, our whole selves to trust, we come to know God. Then we go to make known how God so loves the world.

God strengthens us to face our fears. Storms of conflict and uncertainty can paralyze us. Beyond trusting our own power, we turn to God in faith. We come to know God amid joys and longings of everyday life. We remove the weight of insecurity and face our fear in the strength of God’s peace.
